Developed a mobile app utilizing Node/Express wrapped around the main Rails server, caching requests using Redis (allowing for fast load times on the mobile app). App was built utilizing React Native.

Worked with engineers for backend data queries as well as frontend journal entry input. Additionally, helped the engineers spec out a new financial database for internal accounting needs. It was during this time that I wanted to go deeper into software development.
